Had an enjoyable day with Judy visiting the annual Edmonton Model Train Show in the Millennium Place in Sherwood park adjacent to Edmonton today. I was late finding out about the show till earlier this week, first time they have had the show since the one in 2019 It had all the usual huge modular type layouts with the vendors around the perimeter. A huge Lego set up, I did not think about taking potos until I saw these small diorama models. They were the best for me and were made by an 84 year old chap who had a series of dioramas Evidently kits manufactured in Texas. I missed the name but the pictures speak for themselves 1:87 scale.

And my only purchase was this the book in in good nick even though the slip cover is a bit tatty. $10

Also bumped into an old Model-building acquaintance who I sold a white metal casting set up to 35 years ago, and now does laser cutting, he can cut 3/8 plex or even do bricks in MDF....bonus.
