Does it have to be an SPV or any any LNER vac braked van do?any chance of a similar set of pikkies for a van with LNER brake rigging (as per Diagram 800)?
Anyone know of a similar picture which shows the pipes in place and how the pipes are fixed to the vehicle?
A late design LNER van with vacuum brake may well provide an answer to my first question.Does it have to be an SPV or any any LNER vac braked van do?
As to my second question... unless the diagram 800 vans were fitted with air-pipe connections late in life then the second pipe (if that is what ought to be to the right of the coupling hook) is, presumably, a steam heat connection and hence the BR pipe wagon is not going to help (interesting as it is that the pipe wagon is vacuum brake with a through air pipe).Have a look through the Pipe wagon photos that I have just posted in the gallery. Not an SPV but similar pipe arrangements

Paul Bartlett's site has a photo of E87893 with what looks like a second pipe with the fitting painted silver, which is (I think), the pipe fitting colour for a steam heat pipe.
