Beares on tour (again)

Dog Star

Western Thunderer
After the success of exploring the north coast of Wales last year we are returning to the locality for our holiday of next week. The itinerary is, subject to the weather, something like:-

* Sunday, home to Portmadoc via the Brecon Mountain Railway and the Erwood home for Victorian coach bodies;
* Monday, tour of Boston Lodge;
* Tuesday, up to Tan-y-Bwlch to spend the day drinking Welsh tea and eating Welsh cake whilst watching trains go by.... likely standing in the rain;
* Wednesday, off to ride the Tal-y-llyn;
* Thursday, hopefully we ride to Blaineau behind a Fairlie;
* Friday, take the "how does a steam engine work?" experience at Boston Lodge and later depart for a hotel near Stafford:;
* Saturday, a lazy day riding trams to George's quarry and then home for a rest.

As in previous years Smudge , with his assistant Growler, is looking after the house.

Rgds, Graham
