Looking very nice indeed, George.
How are you intending to fill in the ground cover between/outside the ballasted areas?
Dave.

Bought some two aspect signals for ML all brass construction, and they are very nice...View attachment 141169

Off the back of this post I bought a few Routemex signals (not the all-brass ones) and they go together exceptionally well and look fantastic, and for ~£25 a pop are a real bargain. I’m glad you made that post George

Hi George

It's all slotting together nicely! What adhesive do you find best for the foam board?
....and that guys going to get a messy suit loitering around workshops and wagons!!

Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob, Its not foam board buddy, its foamex which is similar but much stronger being made of PVC and super glue sticks it fine, with the guy l found him sleeping in the track so l put him in the truck for his own safety, now he cant get out without getting his clothes filthy.. hahaha Regards George.

Awwww what has happened, did you stop the layout building George?
It is a great build, you are the "Foamex master". Looking at your date of build it would take me considerably longer per stage of build, but it is inspiring and I still have some Foamex left.

I'm not up to speed on here yet [suffered from the dreaded RMW data loss] so I'm probably behind the curve with any updates made.
Apologies if my question above has already been answered.

Best.

Hello Barnaby, After a lot of thought l decided to sell 'Moss Lane' on to a friend who could give the layout more attention than l could, as l was suffering from Covid at the time and ended up in hospital for a few days, glad to say l have a clean bill of health now. on the foamex side l built an O gauge signal box for a friends garden layout, and it has not suffered at all outside with any damage at all, really amazing stuff...

Glad you're over Covid, take it easy now George.

Ahh I remember now I recall you posting about Moss Lane on RMW but what with all the photo loss I've moved back over to here.
I did from your advice purchase a supply of Foamex though, but I've only used it for inner supports and trialling up some support trays for my Ace DCC bits. Amazing that it can survive outside.

I put my back out and stopped my build but did buy a "for sale" 0 gauge so I could play trains.

It's called Portobello Road TMD.
