The previous owner of the Rivera line sent me these pictures out in his garden in the sun and I think it looks really good. This layout has since found a home in Scotland and is being made into a larger layout. I’m glad it’s found a permanent home.
so what’s next ? The editor of Model Rail asked the same question and even suggested a place I’ve wanted to have a go at for along time!
Same MO as always maybe 10’ this time.

Track arrived so did a Forrest in a box kit, looks good so I’ve ordered 2 more. Plus I’ve been out pruning some real trees to make model trees, these will have to dry out for a few weeks before being treated with awood preservative and then foliage added.

Adding some greenery today using a blend of 3 greens, I will add some coarser foliage as well

It is, I’ve drilled holes and glued in place with a decent PVA.

• The GM Model scene trees have doubled, with another 6 on order. Fantastic value at around £6 a piece, Not up to the same standard as MBR but definitely worth the money.

I agree with the comments about your trees. They the best I have seen since I went to Pendon last.
I will be trying to use offcuts from real branches myself when I next make some trees you have certainly given me some inspiration.
