Fresh off the printer this morning is the one piece carcass of the waiting room, it needs cleaning up but pleased the way it has come out. I have laser cut the windows and doors too.

Good to see the recesses in the walls, for the rectangular cast-iron downpipes too. I see a lot of Westbury station via work and this had the same recessed downpipes when built. Unfortunately, over the years, they’ve been ripped out and replaced with round ones, but round pipes in rectangular recesses look pretty naff and the butchery to the brickwork at the edge of the recesses, makes me weep…

I will probably run some fine wet and dry over before painting, the windows have been laser cut 0.2mm acrylic for the gazing bars and 0.7mm Romark for the frames.
Recessed square downpipes are a distinctive feature the 4" pipes fit into a 4.5" slot.
The windows are recessed deeply in the walls 9" on the prototype 3D printing allowed me to rebate the mortar detail on the recess which I don't think I could do on laser cutting.
