LNWR A class in P4

Wait until you see how much it can haul! I hope you have already stuffed some lead into the boiler. My 7mm A class is a bit light at 1.25 lbs, but it can haul about 30 wagons. My fiddle yard is limited to about 10, so it is OK. 30 is impressive enough.

However, the boiler got closed up somewhat when the front of the firebox got soldered in. If I remember correctly, I had to cut a hole in it to allow the decoder and stay-alive capacitor to get stuffed in there along with the lead. I made a near tragic mistake in not cutting back the peg on the dome, which protrudes well into the boiler and makes it difficult to insert the capacitor.

But you won't be having many of those problems.

Do give us a report when you have a haulage number.
