Focalplane
Western Thunderer
Photographed as the backdrop to my then newly acquired 1935 Riley Kestrel, this is my friend's "Showman's Living Wagon" (that is its correct name). Fully restored and maintained, I should add that it is not for sale!
The interior is also in original condition. The stained glass suggests it and the steam tractor may have been used along the coast (as there are motifs of "fish") possibly pulling fishing boats up onto the strand at places like Beer, East Devon.
I once stayed in a similar caravan parked in a field on a farm in Wiltshire. The beds are quite short!!
