Any of you good old boys know of a source of flat bottomed Code 148 rail this side of the pond?

Just asking for a friend;)

Not sure what pond you refer to?

Lenz is quite close to Code 148.
Lenz is 3.75mm high, Code 148 is 3.76mm.

On the other hand, Lenz is using a NEM120 profile, Code148 is NMRA RP-15.1

Me too, I don't know which side of I guess the Atlantic?

Kalgarin do a code 143, "to represent, in 7mm scale, prototype 109-113lb/yard rails". I have some of their code 100. Their rails have a protoypically broad head and are hi-ni so they look like steel not something yellow.

I guess suitability depends on how many joints you have to make to code 148.

Michael, Richard,
thank you, time for some more research.

Simon
PS. The Atlantic has been refered to the The Pond from both sides for donkeys years. Flights across were known as Pond Crossings. I think it started during WW 2. Even Sleepy Joe has used the phrase!
