Spent the most time this week all 2 hours of it laying the rest of the track to form the Up main and the up loop
Starting with the head shunt at Dudley Port (even though there isn't one) For a small yard

You know when they say if you look at a problem hard enough it WILL come to you, well in this case it didn't:headbang: . Let me explain, whilst trying to make WL pleasing to the eye I decided in my wisdom to solder copper wire to the outside of the running rails at the end of the flexi track to bond them together for electrical continuity, keeping them inline with the running rails, all good says we:thumbs: . I stupidly didn't knock the small nails all of the way into the board so the track could be leveled and there was a very low resistance between the rails. It took my father to point out that the bonds were touching the nails the boards then acting as a path between the + and =- hence the reading. I could kick myself:rant: .

Cynric can we have some more smileys please especially one with a big boot kicking ones Arse

Basics man, basics d'oh

Electrical 101 but sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees, never built a layout outside before and certainly never got this far. Roberto was there and I was going to run his loco's then that happened

Any way Sgt Marsa the Green meanies are ganging up on Moi again that Dog ( you know the Bounty hunter, that's the chocolate bars) again is the main culprit.

Interesting that it was harder to tell when they were in motion... but as soon as I read that they were Heljans, I could see the flat sides....
Certainly has the potential to be a busy layout - nice video Ian!! You're not helping the case for re-instating your Avatar's Blue connections though.... :p :D
