Been thinking about micro CNC for a while now. Was considering the Carbide 3D Nomad...

...but recently came across this from a UK company, Stoney CNC...

Does anybody out there have any experience of the StoneyCNC Mill-it-Mini?

No, but I have got a Stepcraft 400 (which Stoneycnc also sell). This is a different type of cnc machine, but I am having some success with it for the jobs I want to do.
I am using it to mill frames, coupling rods etc.....

but also I wanted to see how far I could push it, so I managed to produce (a set of) cylinder end covers, complete with studs and nuts (the nuts being 0.9mm AF). It did this extremely well and reliably once I got feed rates etc. sorted. 6.5mm O.D.
