Going through the recovered components from Ranelagh Bridge I can use one of the turnout parts on the back of the shed side.
I may just order some laser cut sleepers as I have a full pack of rail plus chairs here! It probably would have been quicker to hand build the whole lot at this rate!

I’ve glued and screwed in place the first piece of ply, this will be a pit the same style as I did on Canton.
Also I’ve had some prints done from my various model Rail photo shoots they will be framed in time, A nice reminder of past projects that will provide inspiration for this new one.

I’ve got a laser cut brick lined pit on order for in front of the coaling stage which will provide a nice contrast.

Tut tut, what you really need is a visiting Bulleid Light Pacific , a nice sky blue named Battle of Britain would fit in so well :D

Nice to catch up today, if this ever goes on display it'll look great, I do like the oily effect on the ground around the pits, very convincing.

Good man !

Fighter Command and Winston Churchill are my two selected candidates when I get round to them.

I do have a spare resin casing here set aside specifically to develop the Giesel exhaust fitting and corresponding overlay. The idea (loosely as it's still fluid right now) is to develop an etch jig that builders drop into the existing casing; this'll have an opening for you to cut the casing in the correct place.

Obviously the Giesel ejector is longer and narrower than the current circular opening, thus an overlay will be required to close off those parts of the old hole no longer required.

As for the actual ejector then a new casting will have to be developed, not overly difficult, just needs time allocation.

In addition, give us a call when you get your kit, you'll need the supplementary 8'-6" cab etch for later modified cab engines.
