lucky man Ross, no doubt you have already started the baseboard framework 'off site' for a quick start when the room is ready?

cheers

That is looking great Ross
A nice big blank canvass to play with - have you decided what you are going to do up there yet?

Hi.. think we're going to have G scale running around the outside on brackets and legs where the scenic section will be.. In O gauge it'll probably be a modular one starting off as a kind of test track and building up from there.. We're having a cinema room in the side opposite the railway, I have a projector, screen and surround system to install, plus my old kodak carousel too..

Ross..

I'm installed in the old kitchen myself, along with the boiler and Charlie's gnomes, but I haven't got as much space as that - a terrific job and great reward for all your hard work:thumbs:

Thanks Ross, multi-scale and multi-purpose, sounds very much like a proper man / toy cave :)
I can highly recommend a bass-shaker for your home cinema seating - it allows you to feel it as well as hear it, and when the volume gets turned down because its late, the impact (literally) doesn't diminish:D

Here's a couple.. spent most of my evening securing the new workbench to the wall, rock solid now can't be doing with wobbles, tonight I've also recovered my new chair (yes new and I've recovered it) in National Bus moquette, we had a little bit left at work so I took it, with permission of course..
