    All mine are trashed if that helps Pete. I did buy a nice new one but promptly knocked over a bottle of Mek on it trashing the surface...

    The middle does not melt with MEK, but does with 100w soldering iron.

    I now think I have the 1262 ready for reassembly. It's taken its time but I'm quite pleased considering where we started.

    It was very badly built and needed striping, taking apart and some replacements made. This is after striping the paint.

    I just found my paper. I tried some, now I remember what happened. It separated from backing but just would not stick. I tried some Carr's transfix but this did nothing. Whether I've got the wrong paper, or the transfix has gone off. It says don't breath the vapours but there's hardly any smell. Anyway something to sort in UK as these things are easier to get.
