Good afternoon All

Found the forum while searching for LSWR permanent way drawings.

I finally started my 'Grand Design' a couple of years ago, after being away from railway modelling for 20+ years. I have, for the first time, just enough space to build (a shortened version of) Barnstaple Junction. I've been working towards this for the best part of 35 years!

I now have my loft made habitable and model railway friendly, and the main baseboards built. The layout has been Temploted (thanks to help from friends at the South Hants MRC), and I'm about to start building track ... hence the searching for LSWR drawings.

Nice to see another west country LSWR modeller. There is a few of us that model Cornwall and NCR lines.

Welcome from North Devon. Home is 25 minutes walk from Barnstaple Junction! It’s a shadow of its former self now, but it has its best ever service to Exeter. At least the main station building survives and was quite busy last Friday afternoon when I called in.
