It was the first time I has seen Love Lave and was particulatly impressed by the quality of the running and operation. Although a steam driver friend of mine suggested that some of the running was too slow, listening to the pace of the loco exhausts it seemed ok to me though. A good advert for S7!

First for me too, lovely work.

One thing that I also liked was the backscene and use of the operators space between it and the layout. May I ask what it was printed upon ?

the backscene is printed on vinyl BUT it would be far better printed on cloth with a dye sublimation printer. With the proper attachments to the frame we could rid of the wrinkles / folds completely. More expensive though.

Thank you, I had an inkling it might have been. Whilst standing there my friend commented that he thought he could see a "join" but I suggested that it was a trick of the light which I feel was certainly the case, I couldn't see any wrinkles / folds but I guess its a necessity to be careful when packing / unpacking the sheet.

Overall I was very impressed with the way it imparts a backdrop to the who layout.

I too really enjoyed seeing Love Lane at Bristol. I could have stood and looked at it all day, spotting new and interesting details every few minutes. A real credit to you all.
