A BD container (3/054). One of six of the fibreglass variety built to Lot 3274 at Mickleover Ltd between October 1959 and January 1960. Collection from Barnsley.

No. I could maybe convince my partner it was a good garden shed, but I’d still need a huge crane to lift it over the house and into the back garden.

I’m hoping somebody in the preservation world might like to take it on. Maybe even the NRM. It’s a very interesting - if stunted - branch of container history.
