    NERly Central Division Bracket Signal

Here is the latest effort, the paintwork needs a touch up and some weather, but best done when on the layout. The signal arms are Mark Tatlow's Highland Rly, the rest is brass bar and strip etc.

    MIDLAND Rly Signal

    NERly Central Division Signals.

Two bracket signals I have recently constructed for a Pre War model of Middleton in Teesdale. The arms are from Mark Tatlow and actualy intended for the Highland Rly, but they are a very good near match. Apart from the ladders which are a modified etch, and the wire cranks every thing else is...

    Ex GNRly Bracket Signal.

My latest effort, ex GNRly bracket signal, and now fitted with UQ arms. The arms are much modified etches, and the "Wooden" dolls are filed from brass bar, the rest is a combination of etches and "Home brew". x

    LATEST SIGNAL

Another recently completed siganal, for a friends layout set in the mid '80's, and ence the "Spare Sawn Off" dolls. The usual mix of ex D&S etches and "Homebrew". The extremely tall doll in the first picture is only in place to ensure the "Doll Pocket" is soldered squre and true, far easier to...

    Colour light signals with DCC

So we have a single head, two aspect, colour light signal with red / green LEDs for illumination (design by @Pete Harvey and kit from C&L Finescale)... we are thinking that operating the signal from DCC ought to be possible. I have looked at the range of decoders on the DCC Supplies web site...

    LNER "Tall Signal"

My latest effort a ex LNER style of "Tall Signal", this one is 32ft 6ins, it appears the tallest tube used by the LNER was 30ft. The "Plate and Angle" base differs from the the more usual bracket signals. Etched arm and fittings etc, post fabricated from angle and strip.

GN Rly Co acting Bracket Signal

I started this way back in January 2009, but for various reasons I was unable to finish it. Practicly the only work required was to permanantly fit the arms, connect everything up and paint it. John Brighton, who is better known for his loco's did that, and he has made a fine job of my bit of...

    UQ Signal

After making several signals for friends I had a few bits left over, I decided it was time to build a few for my own layout "Sallyfield Jct". Of the three, this one may be of interest, and is a little different. Apart from the arm etc, all "Homebrewed" including the colour light head, and...

    LMS 7mm Signals

A couple of LMS 7mm signals I made some years ago, I drilled out the ladders on my milling machine, other parts are "Home Brewed" or well modified etches.
