Hello,

There seems to be a bit of an influx of 2mm modellers here lately.

My name is Andy and I model in 2mm finescale (as well as occasionally dabbling in other scales such as 009 and 7mm). I'm also secretary of the 2mm Scale Association. I have to confess that my main modelling interest is the North Eastern Region of BR, but I do have a growing collection of WR diesel hydraulic locos and building a small layout to run them on is looking likely fairly soon....

I work as an civil engineer on the big railways in York (which probably goes some way to explain my almost total disinterest in 'modern image' modelling - it's too much like work!).

Anyway, I've already started having a poke around in here, and will hopefully post some piccies of workbench projects in due course.

Ho ho, but not quite right. That may be true if I were a palaeontologist (fossils, animal evolution), but I'm an archaeologist (human past and societies). So watch it, I can study you all even as you type...
